Up through high school I always had poker straight hair and I loves it. Around the time I turned 18 my hair got a wave in it.
Not a big deal, but it's a weird wave in a weird spot. I wanted my straight hair back!
Then my hair got thicker over the years. I'm not one to blow dry or do anything other than wash, dry, brush, and let dry my hair. I don't see the point in getting all fixed up for the day, but that's just me.
I will put stuff in my hair to help it though. I have tried multiple de-frizzers and hair smoothers. Everything has some sort of side effect whether it is greasy hair, dry scalp, or something else. I gave up and just wear my hair in a clip.
Until my friend, who has curly hair, came over and told me about coconut oil. I had noticed a difference in her hair and she said all she did was add coconut oil!
I thought, wow! So I crossed my fingers and put a dab on my hand, rubbed it in and put it in my dry hair. I only had greasy hair now and I figured I would never get my straight hair back.
Then I decided to try again. This time I put it in my hair when it was wet. I rubbed it throughout and brushes my hair, crossed my fingers, and waited for it to dry!
It dried and it looks great!!! No grease, no fuss, and straight hair again! Here is a link for your convenience to some coconut oil on Amazon. You can also purchase it at the grocery store or Wal-Mart.
