Handprint Lion

I hope everybody had a great weekend and I hope everybody was lucky enough to get to enjoy a 3 day weekend!  But now it is time to get back to work, or shall I say play?

Last week we worked on the alphabet again for our weekly toddler curriculum which you will see on Thursday.  We did L for Lion.  It is such a cute and easy craft that anybody can do it and the kids love seeing the end result.

Materials:
Yellow Construction Paper
Orange Paint
Kid Hands

I drew an outline of a lion without its mane.  If you aren't good at drawing you can print one out and trace it.

I used a paint brush (you can use a cotton ball too) and put orange paint on one of their hands and did handprints all around the face of the lion.  K decided he wanted to paint too, so I let him go at it with the paint brush.

It is so easy and so cute!  Enjoy :)
