Fall Scavenger Hunt and Craft

All of the kids were being a little crazy today so I decided taking a walk was in order.

Z has been getting bored on walks so I made up a quick scavenger hunt for the walk.  It was a list of simple items but it did the trick and turned our walk into an adventure.

Yellow leaf
Green leaf
Orange leaf
Pine needles
Gum balls
Anything Fall Related

We all had a nice walk and when we got home I pulled out the contact paper, taped it to the table, and let the kids stick any items they could to the contact paper.  When they were done, I added another piece of contact paper on top to seal it up.

This was my first time using contact paper and I see it as the center of many crafts to come!  I hope you have fun too.

  1. Love the idea of a fall scavenger hunt! Scavenger hunts are always big around here!

    1. My son loves them. I need to do them more often, especially around the house to keep him occupied and having fun :)

I look forward to your comments, they make my day!
