Last week we went to the farm to see some animals. I was a little nervous because it was my first time doing something so involved outside of the house with all 3 kids. I have to say, it went pretty well.
I was able to keep the toddlers in the stroller and bring them into the pens to pet the animals so that worked out great.
Z loved feeding the goats and one even stole his feed cup and this goat was WAY bigger than him!
The goats swarmed the stroller and I think they loved the toddlers, they must have smelled like food! They even gathered behind the stroller and pushed it inside the pen.
We saw chickens and roosters and K loves birds so he was thrilled. After taking this picture of Z I realized how big he is getting.
Z got to 'drive' a huge tractor and he was on top of the world!
We saw a ton of ducks and Z decided to walk right through the middle of where they were and they all flew up and over our heads bringing dust, dirt, and who knows what else with them! It was pretty gross and a shower was a definite requirement for everybody that night.
We saw llamas, donkeys, exotic birds, bunnies, and baby birds.
There were also pigs, sheep, and more goats.
We picked out some small pumpkins and the kids were very excited and holding onto them tight! K still points at his yelling 'Mine' when he sees it, but I just know he will throw it and then he will be upset that the pumpkin is gone.
We had a great time at the farm and I am glad I was brave enough to check it out with the kids.
