What to be when I grow up?

Do you ever wonder what you are going to be when you grow up?  I know that I do, almost every day.

I am a full time student finishing my Bachelor's in Business Management in April 2014 and I don't know where I am going from there.  I really hate to admit that since I have worked so hard in school, but I just don't know.

I have been staying home with my son since he was about 18 months old and he is now 4 and going back into the workforce scares me.  It is the unknown.

It also means that somebody else will be taking care of my kids while I am at work, and that is scary also.

I have always envisioned myself as an elementary school teacher, but by the time I finally went back to school I couldn't actually go to school to take classes (which was required at the time for teaching) so I am enrolled in Business Management.

Don't get me wrong, I can definitely use this degree, I just wish I knew what I wanted to do when I grow up.  I would love to start a business, but what kind?

I have found that since I started blogging, I really love it.  I love doing crafts and sharing them.  I love talking to people that I have never met that actually read what I write and are interested.  I love challenging myself for my next post to make sure I have a quality post or craft that somebody might want to do with their kids.  And I love writing.  Unfortunately I can't pitch in for the bills and such with my blog, yet!

Hopefully one day I will be able to make an income off of my blog, because I really love doing it and would love to be able to do it full time, but until then, what should I be when I grow up?

What do you want to be when you grow up?

  1. When I was little I wanted to be an actress lol I still do but I studied medicine, did my degree in psychology and now I provide therapy and counselling. I use to have my own travel business at the same time and I do my blog and some freelance work as a makeup artist. I also love photography. I don't like to limit myself.

    1. Thanks for stopping by. It is so hard to figure out what you want to do forever, especially when you like to do so many things!

I look forward to your comments, they make my day!
