Pencil Holder Craft

We have a bag of containers and different items that I have saved instead of throwing away.  You never know when you might be able to use them!

We had an empty frozen juice container and a friend's birthday coming up, so we decided to repurpose it into a pencil holder.

Supplies Needed:
Juice Container or similar
Construction paper
Markers
Glue
Tape
Scissors

First we gathered our supplies.  We put the container onto the construction paper and measured to see where it would need to be cut.  Z is getting really good at his scissor skills so he followed the line I drew and cut it to size.

Since it was a friend's birthday I asked Z what he wanted to draw and he said a family picture.  So he drew our immediate family, our friend, and Grammie in the picture.  I labeled them as he told me who they were.

We then taped the side to the container and wrapped the paper around and secured with glue along the seam and tape to make it smooth.

We added markers and it worked perfect!
