Go Green Roundup

I know it has been awhile since I have had a Green Room post and I apologize, but my sister is in the process of moving and she is the one who does the posts that go here!

I have decided to do a collection of posts about going green from different blogs that I read, so here it goes!  Hope you find something you can use, I know that I have.

A great recipe for Homemade Dish Soap from Heather at Frugal Fit Family

Patriotic Recycled Tin Can Wind Chimes found at Creative Green Living

Bottle Cap Fish and Flower Scene from I Heart Crafty Things

Toilet Roll Alphabet for using all of those extra toilet paper rolls from Learning 4 Kids

A Recycled Outdoor Music Station found at My Nearest and Dearest

Homemade Cleaners at My Life's a Treasure

Always remember to reuse as much as you can and repurpose any and all items that you can.

Thanks for stopping in and I hope you enjoy!  Have a safe holiday weekend.

  1. I love this! I was just talking to my husband today about how I need to start concocting recipes for homemade cleaners now for sure because my son is 14 months old and getting into everything! I have been good about keeping him away a bit, but I know it will be more difficult as he gets older and I think I would just have peace of mind if I used my natural products so that way if he does find something for some reason he would be poisoned. Thanks for this. I will have to bookmark so I can use for later!

    1. I hope to spend some time this summer making all of my cleaning supplies. For an all purpose cleaner I have been using Vinegar and Water mixture in a spray bottle and it works great and I don't have to worry about the kids getting into it. Thanks for stopping by.
