Summer Preparedness Bag

It's that time of year where you are constantly on the go trying to cram in as much summer fun as possible. With fun comes mess, lost cups, lost shoes, lost sunscreen, and lost clothes!

I decided this year I'm going to put together a preparedness bag for in the car with a little bit if everything for those "in case" moments!  I used my Thirty One Mom bag that I got for Christmas because it is the perfect size.

Here are the things that I included and put into my car:

Sippy cup
2 Diapers
2 Swim Diapers
Baggie of wipes
Change of clothes for each kid
2 Towels
1 Small blanket
Backup sunscreen  (don't use aerosol cans!)
Backup bug spray  (don't use aerosol cans!)
Extra bandaids (we already have a first aid kit in the car)
2 Bottles of water (hot water is better than no water if needed)
Wet ones- hand sanitizing wipes

Hopefully this will prevent any mishaps over the summer!

Here are some links to some of the products I am using.

What will you put in your preparedness bag?

  1. Great idea! It is always so frustrating to know you have what you need at home. This way you will always have what you need and still have a really organized car. I need to get a bag put together.

    1. I'm really glad I put it together. Less I need in the diaper bag also because I know I have it in the car already!

  2. Love that idea! Visiting from the blog hop.

  3. Such a GREAT bag!! I usually tend to have these items on me...just not as organized! It is usually a mess and hidden at the bottom of my purse! Great tips!

    1. yeah, me too! I figured I needed to get organized. I have used this bag so much already it is a mess and needs redone! On my list of to-do for the weekend. Thanks for reading.

  4. Great idea!! I really need to be prepared for those things that pop up!!

    1. Thanks, glad you like it! It has been a life saver and cuts down on my diaper bag quantity!

  5. Supermom! I needed to be prepared like this when my kids were littler. Now they are more self sufficient, but I was the queen of leaving stuff we needed. Great bag! Krista @ A Handful of Everything

    1. It always seems like when I need something, it is the one thing I forgot! I have used this bag multiple times and it needs to be refilled already. Thanks for stopping in. Headed your way.

I look forward to your comments, they make my day!
