Tissue Box Elevator

Age Range: 2+

Supplies Needed:
Tissue box
Construction Paper
Glue Stick
Masking Tape

Z loves to upcycle everything and anything, especially anything cardboard. I am not sure what the appeal is, but he always needs to create something new with cardboard.

This day he decided he wanted an elevator. So we got to work.

First I cut an elevator door opening. Then we covered the whole box with construction paper.

We had some other cardboard floating around and cut out 2 elevator doors and taped them on the inside of the box so that they open.

I helped Z decorate it how he wanted it and we have an elevator!

    1. Thanks for visiting. We are always doing some sort of fun project with different crafts supplies.

  2. It's looking really great. I am sure it works, a lot more can be done with nice cardboard boxes.

    1. We use cardboard boxes for everything! My son refuses to throw them away.

I look forward to your comments, they make my day!
