Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

These Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies are my favorite and easiest cookie recipe.  They are my go-to cookies for when I just want something sweet or need good cookies quick.

Recipe makes about 3 dozen cookies

½ Cup Unsalted butter, softened
1 ½ Cups Brown Sugar
½ Cup White Sugar
½ Teaspoon Salt
2/3 Cup Peanut Butter (I use creamy)
2 Eggs
1 Tbs Vanilla Extract
1 ½ Cups of all-purpose flour
2 Teaspoons baking soda
2 Cups semisweet Chocolate Chips
1 Cup Peanut Butter Chips (optional-if used decrease amount of chocolate chips by ½

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Cream together butter, sugars, salt, and peanut butter

Beat in eggs and vanilla and then add the flour and baking soda

Mix well.  I use my hands to get everything thoroughly mixed.  Add the chips and mix well.

I like the cookies messy and shapeless so I do not make perfect balls of dough.  I scoop out about a tablespoon and put it on a greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.

Bake 10-12 minutes and then cool on cooling rack.

I freeze my cookies because they last longer and they are delicious frozen!
