Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe


This is by far the best chocolate chip recipe I have ever made.  I think the reason is because my husband, who is a Chef, came up with it!  His recipe actually calls for white and semi-sweet chocolate chips, but I only used semi-sweet chocolate chips.  Here is the recipe...

Yields: about 2 dozen

Preheat oven to 325

1 cup         Butter
1/2 cup      Sugar
1.5 cup     Brown Sugar
3 cups       Flour
4 tsp         Vanilla extract
1 tsp         Baking soda
1/2 tsp      Salt
2              Eggs
1.5 Cup   Chocolate Chips (or half white chocolate chips)





Cream together the butter and sugars (I use the stand mixer).  Add remaining ingredients (except chocolate chips) and mix well.  I put on some gloves and dig in and mix the batter with my hands and add the chocolate chips.  I keep my gloves on to make the cookie balls to put on the cookie tray.  Put cookie dough balls, evenly spaced, on a greased cookie sheet and bake on 325 for 10-15 minutes depending on the size of your cookies.  

Let cool on a cooling rack and enjoy!
