When my 4 year old was
a baby I tried to do a lot of crafts with him and he now loves crafts. I realized recently that I don’t have any
crafts done by the baby.
I know, what kind
of crafts can a baby do, right?
I was
trying to decide what to do for my husband for Valentine’s Day from the
baby. I decided on a baby painting. I originally found the idea on Rachel Bishop Designs via Pinterest and put my own spin on it.
I used washable, safe paints and just added a
few drops of paint to a white piece of paper.
I let the baby go at it and play in the paint. He loved it and had a blast. He didn’t even try to eat it, which surprised
me!
I took a picture of him doing the
painting and printed it on my printer since I did it on such short notice. I had an 8x10 frame laying around so I
attached the photograph to his painting and Viola!
I had an easy-made Valentine that even a baby
can do! I plan on doing a variation of
this for different holidays for grandparents too. It is easy to do and a great keepsake.
